Crystallin lens proteins are long-lived proteins expressed early in life with virtually no turnover or protein synthesis. The eye protects its DNA from damage with numerous antioxidant systems. The OcluVet ™ formula was designed to target the reactions that lead to the formation of damaged proteins and provide the nutrients needed to repair the altered amino residues and oxidation to allow the proteins to return to their healthy, non cross-linked state. Glutathione
Powerful antioxidant in the lens critical to protecting proteins and DNA repair. (OcluVet has the powerful sulfur containing antioxidant glutathione. Sulfur can have a smell. Make sure to only use the pop cap and do not unscrew the cap.)
Riboflavin (Supporting) Water soluble vitamin (B-2) that is vital for the synthesis and recycling of Glutathione. This helps not only produce Glutathione but keeps it active longer.
Cystein Ascorbate
Water soluble source of vitamin C and L-cysteine that are necessary for the metabolism of Glutathione.
L-Carnosine
Powerful antioxidant that immediately neutralizes free radicals and is a glycosylation and protein cross linking inhibitor.
N-AcetylCarnosine
Same activity as L-Camosine but stays in the cells longer and provides prolonged free radical scavenging.
L-Taurine
Antioxidant that provides detoxifying activity. This helps stabilize the cell membrane and helps modulation of cellular calcium levels.

Directions:
Initial therapeutic administration: 1 drop to the eye 3 times a day for 6-8 weeks = 1 bottle.
