The at-home Gut Microbiome Test contains everything you need, including step-by-step instructions, to take a sample of your cat’s stool and mail it back to Animal Biome’s laboratory. The kit includes:

• Sample tubes (one is a backup)

Directions for use:

1. Collect
   The gut health test kit includes everything you’ll need to collect a small sample of your cat’s stool, including detailed instructions. 
   
   For best results, we recommend discontinuing probiotics for 24 hours before collecting a sample.
   
2. Register
   Create an account at app.animalbiome.com, complete your cat’s profile, and enter the six-character ID code listed on your instruction card.
3. Send
   The kit includes a pre-addressed mailer for returning your sample. Canadian clients are responsible for shipping cost of their dog's sample to USA. Customs documents are included in the kit. 
4. Analysis
   Using the latest scientific innovations and techniques, Animal Biome’s scientists identify the types and proportions of the bacteria found in your cat’s sample and prepare your cat’s unique report. 
5. Results
   Approximately 2 weeks after we receive your sample, you will receive an email notification that your test results are ready. Access your cat’s results via our online Pet Portal.
