DCS, the Daily Canine Synbiotic, supports gut health, immune function, and overall well-being, while also being a crucial source of omega-3s for your dog. 

At the core of DCS is dogged’s species-specific probiotic blend, featuring select lactic acid bacteria strains and Saccharomyces boulardii, a resilient probiotic yeast that helps maintain balance in the gut even under stress.

DCS combines anchovy-derived fish oil (rich in EPA and DHA), antioxidant-packed organic blueberry powder, and immune-supportive botanicals like larch arabinogalactan and astragalus. Functional fibers like psyllium husk and chlorella work alongside humic and fulvic acids to support digestion and detoxification.

Synbiotic refers to the combined synergistic effect of using probiotics and prebiotics together in one product. This combination improves the survival of beneficial bacteria in the gut, fostering a healthier microbiome than using either alone.

INGREDIENTS

Probiotics: Our species-specific blend combines K9 strains (L. casei and L. brevis) and a wolf strain (L. fermentum) with S. boulardii. Together they help balance the gut microbiome, strengthen immunity, and support digestive.

Immunity:

Blueberries are rich in vitamin C,  powerful polyphenols like anthocyanins. These compounds support immune function by reducing oxidative stress.

Chlorella supports liver and cellular detox by binding to heavy metals and toxins while replenishing nutrients like vitamin B12, iron, and antioxidants. 

Astragalus is an adaptogenic herb that helps regulate immune response and supports cardiovascular and kidney health. It is known to improve resilience against stress.

Omega: Anchovies are a clean, potent source of omega-3s that support your dog’s skin, coat, heart, and immune system. They’re rich in EPA and DHA, which support skin, heart, and brain health.

Prebiotics:

Larch arabinogalactan promotes healthy gut flora and supports immune function by increasing short-chain fatty acid production. It strengthens the intestinal barrier and helps balance digestion.

Psyllium husk is a soluble fiber that absorbs water in the gut, promoting smooth digestion and healthy elimination. It helps balance microbiota and supports nutrient absorption.

Digestion: Humic and fulvic acids support gut health by improving nutrient absorption, balancing the microbiome, and helping the body remove unwanted substances.

Daily Dosage:

1-25lbs = 1 scoop

26-60lbs = 2 scoops

61-100lbs = 3 scoops

101+ = 4 scoops

It’s common for some dogs to experience mild, temporary digestive changes like soft stool or extra gas when starting any new probiotic, including DCS. This is usually a sign that their gut is adjusting and this typically settles within a few days.

To make the transition easier, we recommend starting with half the dose for the first 3 days, then moving up to the full amount. If digestive upset persists or your dog has underlying health conditions, it’s best to consult your veterinarian.
